Cystic Fibrosis Newborn Screening Collaboratives
Enhancing CF newborn screening through multi-state learning collaboratives.
CPHI is leading multi-state collaboratives that bring together Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Centers and newborn screening programs to improve communication, identify system bottlenecks, and strengthen the overall screening process.
Goals of the Collaboratives
Develop and share process improvement strategies that support the timely screening and diagnosis of babies with CF.
Provide a format for participants to discuss key challenges and work together to find practical solutions.
Establish regular meetings focused on continuous Quality Improvement (QI).
Organized into four topic areas, the collaboratives meet regularly to share solutions and strategies.
