UPCOMING WEBINARS

Wednesday, April 15th, 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET

Cystic Fibrosis Modulators in Pregnancy and the Impact on Newborn Screening Results

Speakers: Jennifer L. Taylor, MD, MSCS, National Jewish Health and Clement Ren, MD, MBA, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

The Center for Public Health Innovation, with grant support from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar on modulator use during pregnancy and discuss approaches to ensure that all infants at risk for CF that are also exposed to modulator therapies receive timely identification and treatment.

Modulator therapy in cystic fibrosis is being used to treat individuals with cystic fibrosis who become pregnant, and in pregnancies with a fetus known or suspected to have CF.  The newborn screening results may result in a normal IRT, potentially delaying the identification of some affected infants.
